Registration Cost:
Cost for the course is $375, after August 7, $425. Registration fee covers two individuals involved in the same business, additional attendees for that business will be assessed additional fees. Fees also include one set of NxLeveL Entrepreneur books.
Course Instructor: Lois Thom
Lois Thom, has a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska of Kearney. As Assistant Director for the Nebraska Business Development Center, she consulted with a multitude of small businesses, and she has also taught Business Consultantship at UNK. She and her husband live and farm south of Minden, where she is an active partner in the operation. She also works as an independent contractor on Receivership Cases. She has taught the NebraskaEDGE “Entrepreneurship” course and the agricultural-version, “Tilling the Soil of Opportunity”.
Course Coordinator: Jean Issler, Holdrege
Jean Issler has a BS in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As Employment Services Coordinator at Nebraska Workforce Development she assisted small and large businesses with labor market information research, labor law information, writing job descriptions, and employee recruitment. She is a graduate of EDGE and credits her experience in EDGE with giving her the confidence and information needed to start her own Virtual Assistant business.
